It’s fitting that the home of Scotland’s first dedicated building conservation centre is a retrofitted traditional building. The Engine Shed uses traditional materials in a contemporary and energy efficient way.

This means they improve the energy efficiency whilst maintaining their fabric and allowing materials to function as they should.
