Christmas Shopping Fair
Back for 2025, our fantastically festive Christmas Shopping Fair!
The ever-popular Christmas Shopping Fair returns on Tuesday 2 December!
Stock up for the festive season in the splendour of the Great Hall, with stalls showcasing the very best of local Scottish brands, crafts and fine foods and drink.
You can also enjoy wonderful music from a brass band and tuck into delicious mince pies and mulled wine.
Please note, car parking is included in the ticket price for the event, but is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

All venues have step free access, with the exception of the raised floor level of the Chapel Royal.
Our mobility vehicle will be available to assist visitors from the castle entrance to the top square. However, this cannot be pre-booked and will operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. As such, there may be a wait between the request and the service. All requests to use this service can be directed to castle staff on arrival.
