Come and meet some local experts and learn all about the wonderful world of fungi. There will be some expert led forays with the 'Edinburgh & Lothians Fungus Enthusiasts' into the playing fields of Holyrood Park throughout the day to look for fungi.
This is a free drop-in event, and no need to book.

Age: Suitable for all ages 5 years and upwards Grade: Easy. There will be some expert led forays into the playing fields of Holyrood Park throughout the day to look for fungi. Bring: Warm, waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear with good grips. A snack and a drink. Toilets: Toilets (including accessible toilets)are available at the Holyrood Park Education Centre (EH8 8HG). Parking: Broad Pavement Car Park. Road Closures: Holyrood Park roads are closed every Saturday and Sunday. Local roads and car parks may be subject to closures-please contact the Ranger Service for more information. rangers@hes.scot 0131 652 8150 Disabled access: Holyrood Park Education Centre is wheelchair accessible Dogs: Dogs are not permitted inside the education centre, except assistance dogs.
