- Age: May not be suitable for children under 12 years of age
- Bring: Warm, waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear with good grips. A torch if you have one
- Toilets: Not available on walk
- Parking: Parking available nearby in Vennel Car Park
- Accessibility: This route involves rough tracks and slopes. Please contact the Ranger Service on 0131 652 8150 or rangers@hes.scot if you have any access requirements and we will do our best to adapt the walk accordingly
- Dogs are not permitted except assistance dogs
