Vitruvius Scoticus

In this talk our Library and Search Room Manager will recount the publication history Vitruvius Scoticus, a book containing designs by renowned 18th century architect William Adam.

Vitruvius Scoticus is a 200 year old publication which shows designs for grand buildings across Scotland from the renowned 18th century architect William Adam. A copy of this book was recently discovered in HES Archives.

In this talk Freddie Alexander-Reid (Library and Search Room Manager) reveals some of the highlights from the publication, and discusses its history.

After the talk there will be an opportunity to view original archive material.
