Our popular Unicorn weekend returns to Stirling Castle but this time they are bringing along some friends.
Meet some Unicorns in the beautiful Queen Anne Gardens and learn more about Scotland's national animal. There will be plenty to do fun for the whole family, with crafts and stories which focus on the mythical beasts all over Scotland along with everyones favourite Jester led treasure hunt!
Please note there will be no parking on the castle esplanade during this event.
Please make alternative travel or parking arrangements. Blue badge holders will still be able to park on the esplanade if you make yourselves known to staff on approach.
Stirling is well connected by public transport links across the central belt, with the castle an extremely scenic (but a bit steep) walk through Stirling's iconic old town from the train station. There will be plenty going on in Stirling throughout the weekend, so please check out the city’s wide-range of shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and cultural attractions during your visit to Stirling Castle for the Unicorn event. You can also get a bus from the station to near the castle.
Enjoy 25% off entry when you arrive car-free by train, bus or bike. 25% off the standard Adult, Child or Concession admission price when you book online with code GOOD25 and show bus/train ticket or bike on arrival.
If driving is your only option, please use the city centre car parking facilities and make your way up to the castle. There is a range of city centre parking available, from on street parking and outdoor car parks like Forthside Car Park located on Forthside Way, to multistorey car parks such as Thistles Shopping Centre and Wellgreen parking. More information can be found on the Stirling Council website.
You can also use the Castleview Park & Ride (off junction 10 of the M9 motorway) and get off at the Old Town Jail.
