Our popular Unicorn weekend returns to Stirling Castle!
Meet a Unicorn and learn more about Scotland's national animal as well as some of Scotland's other mythical beasts. There's plenty to do with a puppet show and a jester led hunt, you'll even get the chance to create some heraldry to take home.

Please note there will be no parking on the castle esplanade during this event on either Sat 5 or Sun 6 April.
Please make alternative travel or parking arrangements. Blue badge holders will still be able to park on the esplanade if you make yourselves known to staff on approach.
Stirling is well connected by public transport links across the central belt, with the castle an extremely scenic (but a bit steep) walk through Stirling's iconic old town from the train station. You can also get a bus from the station to near the castle.
If you're travelling by bus, train, or bike, you can get 25% off your admission ticket with the Good Journey promotion. All you need to do is buy your ticket online using the promo code, then show us your train ticket, bus ticket or pass, or wave you bike helmet at us when you visit! If driving is your only option, please use the city centre car parking facilities and make your way up to the castle. There is a range of city centre parking available from on street parking, outdoor car parks like Forthside Car Park located on Forthside Way, to multistorey car park such as Thistles Shopping Centre and Wellgreen parking. More information can be found on the council website.
You can also use the Castleview Park & Ride (off junction 10 of the M9 motorway) and get off at the Old Town Gaol. For the Unicorn weekend there will be a special park and ride timetable in operation.
