Sea Shanty Workshop
Join us for an afternoon of sea shanties and tales of Leith's whaling history.
Trinity House has long been connected to Leith's historic whaling industry. On these long voyages seafarers would entertain themselves with crafts, games, and music.
Join traditional Scots singer Joss Cameron and learn about the history of sea shanties before having a go at singing your own seafaring songs! This unique experience includes a whaling-themed tour of Trinity House followed by shanties in our sixteenth century vaults.
