Step into a frightfully fun celebration of Scotland’s Halloween traditions, packed with hands-on activities for all ages! From dookin’ for apples to a lively “dancing scream", you’ll discover how Halloween was celebrated in centuries past.
Dress in your best costume and join us for a chance to practice your jokes and poems ahead of your guising adventures, under the watchful eye of one of Scotland’s historic royals!
But beware…they’re not the only figures roaming the castle. Will you cross paths with the mysterious hedgewife and uncover ancient myths and folklore? Or perhaps the provost will draw you in with tales of gruesome crimes and chilling punishments from long ago...
