A Ranger led walk of Holyrood Park

Coloured lithograph entitled Royal Review of Scottish Volunteers, Queen's Park, by McFarlane & Erskine. The Royal Review of Scottish Volunteers of 25 August 1881 was one of a series of military parades held in Holyrood Park. It was known as the 'Wet Review' as more than 40,000 Volunteers and spectators were drenched by rain.
