James Buchanan, an itinerant Apothecary who travels from town to town, has arrived at the castle to attend to the needs of the Garrison.

Historic Tales of New Abbey
Visit the conservation village of New Abbey to hear some of its historical tales. A chance to visit Sweetheart Abbey, New Abbey Corn Mill and Shambellie House for free thanks to support from Dumfries and Galloway Cultural Fund and Shambellie House.
